r ► <br /> i <br /> MINUTES March 2, I995 8 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> i <br /> I <br /> i <br /> Mr. Besse responded, "No, they are separate and go into the ground." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "I would like it drained right into the sewer system because <br /> their treatment plant can handle the phosphorus." <br /> Mr. Besse agreed to revise plans which tie the floor drains into the treatment plant. <br /> Mr. McQuaid questioned, "Is the parking area burmed and are there M.D.C. <br /> drains?" <br /> I <br /> Mr. Besse stated, "The parking area is burmed and M.D.C. drains are proposed." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve plans for the Willowbend Golf Cart Storage <br /> area with the stipulation plans are revised which tie the floor drains into the treatment <br /> plant, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> 7.) Variance requests - 2 Cedar Street and 30 Devon Street <br /> 2 CEDAR STREET - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The owner is requesting a 32' local <br /> variance from the proposed on-site leaching facility to the proposed on-site well and a 18' <br /> local variance from the proposed on-site leaching facility to abutting well, (House #5 <br /> j Cedar Street)." "I would recommend the Board grant the requested relief." <br /> i <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant the local variances as stated by Mr. McQuaid, Mr. <br /> Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> I <br /> 30 DEVON STREET - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The owner is requesting a 45' local <br /> variance from the proposed on-site leaching facility to the proposed on-site well." "I <br /> would recommend the Board grant the requested relief." <br /> Mr. Evans stated, "#2 Cedar Street and 930 Devon Street are abutting lots." "It <br /> appears there are different engineers for both lots and one has proposed the well in the <br /> same corner of the lot as the septic is proposed on the other." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the request for variance relief based on the close <br /> proximity of the abutting proposed leaching facility to the proposed on-site well, Mr. <br /> Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to reconsider the Boards vote to grant variance relief <br /> for 2 Cedar Street, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br />
