i <br /> MINUTES August 24, 2000 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> .Discussion took place regarding the compactors that had been approved at the spring <br /> town meeting. Ms. Warden stated that the specifications were going to town counsel <br /> for review. <br /> 9. Emergency Failure Certification <br /> 198 Fells Pond Road <br /> It was indicated that the cesspool is full and that the installation of two 500- <br /> gallon drywells, and a new distribution box with 3' stone was necessary. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 3 Shipwreck Drive <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the cesspool was full and that, due to well and <br /> septic location, the existing pit should be removed, cleaned out and re-packed <br /> with sand and 3' stone and new distribution box. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 19 Jeep Place <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the cesspool was full and that the installation of <br /> two 500-gallon'drywells with 3' of stone and new distribution box is necessary. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 10. Change in bedroom count request -- 23 25 Ocean Bluff <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "These are new, conforming Title V systems that were <br /> approved. He wants to flip-flop and put the four-bedroom house on the larger <br /> lot and the three-bedroom house on the smaller lot. These are the new systems <br /> that were just approved in January. If you recall, these were the two lots where <br /> there was a total of nine bedrooms and we didn't get the as-builts back and we <br /> approved them pending DEP's approval. DEP denied it, so New Seabury gave <br /> up on the old Title V systems. These are new Title V systems and they just <br /> want to flip-flop the number of bedrooms. I don't have a problem with that at <br /> all." <br /> Mr. Santos suggested waiting until revised plans are submitted to approve <br /> them. There was no motion, however Board members agreed that the proposed <br /> change is acceptable. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> a. Gone Tomatoes <br /> Ms. Warden stated, "I received an anonymous complaint about Gone Tomatoes <br /> staff reaching into containers with bare hands to refill the bar condiment trays, <br /> wiping their hands on their pants and then reaching into the next container to <br /> refill the tray, etc. And then she complained about the upstairs bathroom <br /> having no paper towels, no soap and it was filthy.
