Raul Lizardi-Rivera speaks in support for the project and that this is necessary for the coastal bank due to its steepness. Avoiding the runoff would be beneficial to the area. AGENT COMMENTS • Applicant seeks to do some minor site grading to level area out(grade currently pitches towards the bank. • Proposal includes: o putting down mulch o picnic tables o removal of two trees (1 nonnative hemlock-deteriorated health)and eastern red cedar fronting access steps to association dock. o Mitigation plantings to compensate for the loss of two trees. o Low profile landscape tie retaining wall along the edge of grass/top of the bank. o Site grading will help to reduce runoff down a very steep bank. o Agent recommends Negative Determination with the condition of mitigation plantings where appropriate. Motion made by Ms. Clapprood for a negative determination with the condition of mitigation plantings completed in the spring of 2023. Motion seconded by Mr. Dalton.
