469 Annual Town Meeting -14- May 79 1979 ACTION on ARTICLE 30s Motion made and seconded that the Town vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $6,317.00 for the purchase of a new four-wheel drive pick-up truck with the 1974 Dodge four-wheel drive pick-up truck to be used as a trade-in. ARTICLE 3 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate the sum of $7,726.53 (Grade 6, Step 1, in accordance with the Salary Administration Plan), for the position of Secretary/bispatcher, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 33 to reads ' To see if the Town will authorize the hiring of one full- time Secretary/Dispatcher for the Fire Department and raise and appropriate the sum of $3,268.98 to be applied to the Fire Department Wage Account to defray the cost of the Secre- tary/Dispatcher in accordance with the Salary Administration Plan or take any other action thereon: Motion carried. Article 33 accepted as amended. ARTICLE . To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate a sum of money to purchase an additional ambulance for the Fire Department, or take any other action thereon. ACTIONS Motion made and seconded to Indefinitely Post- pone. Motion carried. ARTICLE 3 . To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priiate or transfer from available funds a sum of money to bring the present ambulance in line with the State Ambulance Regulation Program. ACTION: Notion Shade and seconded to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $2,370-00 to bring the present ambulance in line with the State Ambulance Regulation Program. ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate a sum of money to equip and clothe the two new Fire- fighters, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to raise and appro- priate the sum of $1,390.00 to equip and clothe the two new Firefighters. Motion carried, ARTICLE . To see if-the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or transfer from available funds the sum of $10,000.009 or any other sum, to be added to the Fire Department Capital Outlay Account, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 37 be Indefinitely Postponed. ARTICLES. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or transfer from available funds a sum of money to purchase a rescue boat for the Fire Departmentt orttake any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seoonded to raise and appro- priate the sun of $5,897.00. motion made and seconded to Table Article 38. Motion carried by 166 yes, and 36 no..
