5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 25,2006 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Rotary Club of Mashpee—Request for One Day Permit for Oktoberfest: <br /> Selectman Cook stepped down for the above referenced agenda topic. <br /> Timothy Crimmins,Rotary Club president was in attendance to request <br /> the Selectmen approve the annual one-day beer&wine license for <br /> Oktoberfest to be held on October 7, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at <br /> 63 Steeple Street(across from the Mashpee Library) with a rain date of <br /> October 8,2006. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to grant approval to the <br /> Mashpee Rotary Club, a one-day beer&wine license to be held on <br /> October 7,2006, operating hours from 11:00 am. to 6:00 p.m.with a <br /> rain date of October S,2006 as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Cook absent. <br /> SCOMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Personnel Administrator—Twenty-Five Years of Service: <br /> Marilyn Farren,Personnel Administrator was recognized for twenty-five <br /> years of service to the Town of Mashpee. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Recommendation for Appointment--Cape Cod Regional Transit <br /> Authority Representative: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to designate Rcn�Read as <br /> Mashpee's representative and voting member of the Cape Cod <br /> Regional Transit Authority. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
