y 7 Board of Selectmen Minutes October 15, 2001 APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: Public Comment: Ron Bevacqua, Mashpee resident and Police Sergeant read aloud a memorandum of concern relative to the manner in which the new Police Lieutenant Positions have been handled. Mr. Bevacqua urged the Board to defer the promotions until the Sergeant's process has been completed and until the Town allows the Unions to discuss the promotional process further. In other business, Mrs. Etheleen Antunes related concern with respect to the proposed increase in the cost of disposal stickers. It was noted that the matter would appear as a future agenda topic of discussion. The Transfer Station, policy, procedures and fees are presently under review. Michael Forde: Michael Forde publicly expressed appreciation to the Class of 2006 and for those who contributed and donated time to enhance Y and beautify the recently installed bike path. The bike path was planted as a living memorial for the victims of the recent tragedy. A dedication ceremony is forthcoming. Public Hearin�Liquor License Transfer: 4 Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced hearing. Selectman Cahalane opened the Public Hearing on the application of Fidde Corporation d/b/a The Boathouse, Edmund RichardL Manager, for a transfer of All Alcohol Restaurant License from DCMD, Inc., d/b/a Carbo's Grille&Bar. Joyce Mason, Acting Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing notice as published. Mr. Richardi and Mr. Carboneau were present to discuss the license transfer request with the Board of Selectmen. It was noted that all necessary paperwork is in order for the Board's approval. Being no comment,the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing.
