.y <br /> i <br /> 'Y 4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 15, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Appointment of Parking Control Officer; <br /> Correspondence was received from the Chief of Police dated <br /> September 21, 2001 recommending the appointment of Robert <br /> Graham to the position of Parking Patrol Officer. <br /> Chief Cooper recommended that the appointment of Mr. Graham be <br /> contingent upon his continued employment with Mashpee Commons, LP <br /> and that he serve without pay, except for regular compensation from <br /> Mashpee Commons, LP. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint Robert F. Graham <br /> to the position of Mashpee Parking Control Officer as recommended. <br /> �Y Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Appointment of Parking Clerk: <br /> In accordance with the Town Meeting vote of October 1, 2001, the <br /> Selectmen reviewed the appointment of Parking Clerk. Since the Town <br /> Clerk is the "keeper of records" and retains copies of all bylaw/parking <br /> tickets that are issued it was determined that the Town Clerk be appointed <br /> to the position. <br /> Correspondence was received from Deborah Dami; Town Clerk dated <br /> October 3, 2001 with respect to this regard Mrs. Dami suggested that the <br /> position of Parking Clerk be made for a term to expire in conjunction with <br /> the term of the Town Clerk's position. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to appoint the Town Clerk, <br /> Deborah Dami to the position of Parldng Clerk for a term to expire <br /> May,2002 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
