Y , <br /> 5 <br /> e <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 15, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Request to Construct Building—Police Firing Range: <br /> Correspondence was received from Deputy Chief of Police, <br /> Al Todino dated October 4, 2001 requesting the Selectmen <br /> approve the construction of a 16x20' structure with an over hang <br /> at the Mashpee Police Firearms Range located off Meetinghouse <br /> Road near the Town Landfill. <br /> It was noted that the present structure leaks during inclement <br /> weather and has a damp, mold condition that is unhealthy for <br /> officer"training. The building would be constructed from donated <br /> material and labor. There is no cost obligation to the Town. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the request for the <br /> construction project at the Firearms Range as outlined in Deputy <br /> Y Todino's memorandum pending all necessary permits is obtained. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Aj2pointment to Kids Klub: <br /> Marilyn Farren, Personnel Administrator recommended candidates for the <br /> Kids Klub Program as outlined in her memorandum to the Board dated <br /> October 5, 2001. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to appoint the following candidates <br /> to the Kids Klub Program as recommended, <br /> Donna DeLeon Site Coordinator <br /> Cerryl Gilbert Group Leader <br /> Jodi Gallagher Group Leader <br /> Jade Hardge Assistant Group Leader <br /> Catherine Cameron Assistant Teacher <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Request for One Day LLquor License—VFW: <br /> The above referenced agenda topic was deferred at this time. <br />
