4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 15, 2000 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> DPW Director—Wheeler Road and Santuit Lane & Shields Lane: <br /> The proposed work for the unpaved sections of Wheeler Road and <br /> Santuit Lane & Shields Lane were presented to the Board for approval. <br /> It was noted that the work is funded privately by the residents of <br /> discussion and the Town is held harmless on account of any damages <br /> caused by such repairs by this agreement. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the repair of <br /> Wheeler Road in the amount of$820, and the repair to Santuit Lane <br /> and Shields Lanes in the amount of$470 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Delphic Avenue_ <br /> It is necessary to prepare a plan in order to develop Delphic Avenue <br /> informed Greg Taylor, Director of Public Works. The cost of the <br /> engineering plan preparation is estimated at$1,700. It was noted that a <br /> curb cut is needed from the Massachusetts Highway Department to <br /> provide access to Delphic Avenue from Falmouth Road. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve of an engineering plan <br /> to provide access to Delphic Avenue for a sum not to exceed S1,700 <br /> as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
