Ms. Greelish mentioned that it was just a transfer <br /> from one account to another. <br /> Also present at the meeting were Jane Stockbridge and Rita Sousa, <br /> Personnel Board to discuss Article 7 . This Article will vote to <br /> upgrade the Administrative Clerk in the Town Clerk's office from <br /> Grade 4 to Grade 6; and the Conservation Agent from Grade 11 to , <br /> Grade 14 to be effective immediately. The total of the two <br /> positions equal $1, 350.90. $438 .90 to the Administrative Clerk <br /> annually and $912.00 to the Conservation Agent annually. Ms. <br /> Stockbridge explained that these reclassifications were based on <br /> the study done by herself of all P.A.P. positions. Ms. Greelish invited Personnel. to <br /> come to the next Finance Committee meeting on October 13, 1992 . <br /> Bill Hauck, Building Inspector, was present at the meeting to <br /> discuss Article 1 on the warrant. This Article requests that a <br /> transfer be made from available funds in the amount of $2 ,114. 34 to <br /> the Building Inspectors Wage Account for funding of an assistant <br /> building inspector in the absence of the building inspector due to <br /> vacation, illness or personal leave. Members agreed that this was <br /> a housekeeping article and Dan Goggin MOTIONED to approve Article <br /> i. John Ferriday seconded the motion and members voted in approval <br /> 5-0. <br /> Members then discussed with Mr. Hauck Article 17. This Article <br /> asks the town to vote on transferring available funds a sum of <br /> money to a Dangerous or Abandoned Structures Account. Ms. Greelish <br /> stated that the Reserve Fund seemed appropriate for this purpose <br /> since it was undeterminable how often a new fund would be utilized <br /> annually. Dan Goggin MOTIONED to approve Article 17. Ed Baker <br /> seconded the motion and members voted 2-3 in its disapproval. John <br /> Ferriday and Ed Baker in approval. Deirdre Greelish, Dan Goggin <br /> and Denise Sullivan against. <br /> Robert Ridgeway, Fire Chief and George Baker, Deputy Chief were <br /> present at the meeting to discuss Article 27. This article asks <br /> the town to raise and appropriaate or transfer from available funds <br /> in the Treasury a sum of money to the Firefighters Salary and Wage <br /> Account, or any other action relating thereto. This Article will <br /> correct the FY1993 budget by funding firefighters salaries in line <br /> with the current contractual amounts. Ed Baker stated that in his <br /> 1 estimation, the fire department cannot function effectively without <br /> funding the union contract for FY1993. Chief Ridgeway put together <br />
