8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 11, 2000 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearin Mashpge Auto Brokers--Class II Used Car License: <br /> (continued) <br /> Linda Howard, a resident of Deer Crossing indicated that she moved to <br /> Mashpee because she felt there was good planned growth. Ms. Howard <br /> suggested that the referenced business be considered in an industrial park. <br /> Marilyn Brooks added that there is a child's play area in location of the <br /> used car lot proposal. In response,Mr. Moore stated that his intended <br /> business location is 100' away from the children's play area and is 75' <br /> from the road. It was noted that the gym where the child's.play area is <br /> located is seeking to relocate their establishment. Mr. Moore also stated <br /> that his used cars would not be displayed in front of the marketplace. <br /> Being no further comment, the Board motioned to close the Public <br /> Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the application of <br /> Paul P. Moore, dlb/a Mashpee Auto Brokers to operate a Class H <br /> Used Car License at 681 Falmouth Road,Mashpee with the <br /> stipulation that a maximum of(4) vehicles would be parked in the <br /> designated spaces behind Carbo's Restaurant, and that no cars will be <br /> parked across the street at 680 Falmouth Road, and that the applicant <br /> will not come before the Board to seek additional spaces at 681 or 680 <br /> Falmouth Road for the sale of used vehicles. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: 3-2. Motion carries. <br /> Selectman Leveille, Selectman Taylor in opposition. <br />
