j 10 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 30, 2000 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Fred Blythe—Ballfields Presentation: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the land selection of <br /> the Mashpee High School Site for the athletic ballfields as <br /> recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Transfer Station—Waste Oil Heater: <br /> It was noted that the Selectmen pending additional clarification previously <br /> approved the waste oil heater for the Transfer Station. Information <br /> relative to the operation and emission standards was detailed as were <br /> funding initiatives to support the purchase. <br /> Ockway School Building— Waiver of Fees: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Renovation of the old Ockway School building is proposed utilizing funds <br /> from the Women's Club. A building permit is needed as is the waiver of <br /> associated building fees on the deteriorated building located on town- <br /> owned property. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the renovation of the <br /> Ockway School Building, and waive associated building fees. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
