2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 4, 2000 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Acceptance of Bid—Mashpee Community <br /> Joanne Ferragamo and several members of the Mashpee 2000 Park <br /> Committee were present to request the Board approve the low bid of <br /> Argus Construction of Bedford for landscaping services associated to the <br /> construction of the Mashpee Community Park. <br /> It was noted that the project was re-bid. Funds are available for said <br /> purpose and within the intended budget of the project scope. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to award the Mashpee <br /> Community Park Landscaping Services bid to Argus Construction for <br /> the base bid of$115,000 to include addenda#1 $23,000 and addenda <br /> #2 $300 for a total sum of$138,800 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Additional design and construction administration services for the <br /> Mashpee Community Park were recommended to be allocated for the <br /> project. Funds are within budget constraints. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve and authorize a sum <br /> not to exceed $10,000 for landscape architectural services associated <br /> to the Mashpee Community Park as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
