Page 3 <br /> have not yet been reviewed by the Board of Selectmen. They would <br /> be reviewing these Articles on Monday, March 7, 1994 and would be <br /> ready to discuss on Tuesday, March 8th. Mr. Goggin felt that the <br /> Finance Committee should make certain that all of their Articles <br /> were included. Ms. Greelish stated that there was only one Article <br /> in the Annual Warrant in regard to Vehicle Replacement. The <br /> remaining Finance Committee Articles were included in the Special <br /> Town Warrant. <br /> ARTICLES - SPECIAL TOWN WARRANT <br /> Ms. Greelish furnished a copy of these Articles to the Committee. <br /> They included Capital Replacement Account, a transfer of money from <br /> the Middle School Account to the High School Account, and the <br /> Betterment Reserve Account. She stated that if the Committee <br /> thought of any more they would like to include to call her. <br /> COMPUTER COMMITTEE UPDATE <br /> Mr. Goggin mentioned that this Committee met prior to the Finance <br /> Committee meeting. Mr. Goggin stated that many department heads <br /> were there. There is a draft RFP prepared which was discussed in <br /> detail, but changes need to be made. A Finance Committee member, <br /> as well as Mr. Whritenour and Tom Pucci would help rewrite the RFP. <br /> Mr. Goggin suggested that it would be very beneficial if Ms. <br /> Greelish was the Finance Committee member to assist. The Executive <br /> Secretary also stated that he would really appreciate Ms. <br /> Greelish's help. <br /> Ms. Greelish mentioned that there was a minor change to the <br /> initiatives column in the packet which she distributed. <br /> Mr. Ferriday also handed out a revised sheet containing salary <br /> requested for Leisure Services, Council on Aging and the Library. <br /> Mr. Goggin indicated that Mr. Whritenour was here tonight to <br /> discuss and review the Expense Ledger for the Town dated February <br /> 25, 1994 . Mr. Whritenour stated that this document had the changes <br /> made by the Selectmen to his recommendations. They voted last <br /> Friday to finalize their budgets. The Finance Committee and the <br /> Executive Secretary reviewed certain departments where they felt <br /> there was a controversy between the Selectmen's recommendation and <br /> the Finance Committee's recommendation, or a question. <br /> Mr. Goggin asked about the Economic Development Account. The <br /> Selectmen recommended $7,500. Mr. Whritenour stated that the <br /> Committee was working hard. <br /> TOWN ACCOUNTANT - There was a question about the Town Accountant's <br /> Department. Mr. Whritenour explained that the Selectmen did not <br /> recommend adding four hours to the part timer, but did recommend <br /> $1,000 be put into a temporary account for flexibility. Mr. <br />
