Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 9 <br /> May 18, 1998 <br /> NEW BUSMSS: <br /> Acceptance of Sidewalk and Masonry Bids for H_igh School: <br /> Paul Griffin, Chairman of the High School Building Committee was <br /> present to recommend the Board vote to award the sidewalk contract <br /> to G.M. Berkley in the amount of$42,770, and masonry repair work to <br /> Epxoy Systems, Inc. for the sum of$18,000. <br /> Acceptance of the above will resolve several pending handicap issues <br /> and assist with project closure. Mr. Griffin indicated that he will meet <br /> with the Board on June 8, 1998 to address final items pertaining to project <br /> completion, and present the amount of remaining funds for the high school <br /> project to be returned to the Town. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to accept the Sidewalk and Masonry <br /> Bids for the High School project as defined. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> AccoWgg f Aimual DPW Bids: <br /> Greg Taylor,Director of Public Works was present to recommend the Board <br /> approve the Annual DPW Bids as presented. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve the Annual DPW low bids <br /> as recommended; No.'s 1 -9; 11 - 13; 20-22; and 24. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to extend the Annual Gasoline Bid <br /> for FY99; No. 17 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
