Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 10 <br /> May 18, 1998 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Acceptance of Boat Bid for Harbormaster <br /> Perry Ellis,Harbor Master was present to recommend the Board accept <br /> Bid#3 from Perry's Boatyard for a 19 foot Carolina Skiff in the amount <br /> of$5,400. Funds would derive from the Waterfront Maintenance Account <br /> approved at the October, 1997, Town Meeting. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to accept the Boat Bid for the <br /> Harbor Master as defined. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Appointment of Assistant Town_P_l&wer_ <br /> Marilyn Farren, Personnel Administrator and Tom Fudala,the Town Planner <br /> indicated that interviews were recently completed for the full-time position of <br /> Assistant Town Planner. The recommended candidate,Eric Twarog was a <br /> former planner for the city of Amarillo, Texas. He holds a Masters' Degree <br /> in Urban Planning. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to appoint Eric Twarog to the <br /> position of Assistant Town Planner as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the starting step <br /> of Step Z of the Administrator's pay scale as recommended for <br /> the Assistant Town Planner. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOT Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> �1 <br />
