Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 4 <br /> June 22, 1998 <br /> APPOINU�S AND BEARINGS: <br /> C. Talaaian-Route 28 Proposal. (continued) <br /> Mr. Megathlin discussed planned improvements that include a filly <br /> activated traffic control signal at Donna's Lane and improvements to <br /> Route 28 from Shellback Way to the Falmouth town line by the <br /> Massachusetts Highway Department, including the construction of a <br /> sidewalk. <br /> It was noted that meetings will be held with the Pirates Cove Association, <br /> Mashpee Environmental Coalition, and the Watershed Management Committee. <br /> To date,the developer has met with Sea Mist, Sandalwood, Windchimes and <br /> Deer Crossing. <br /> A lot of the input has been supportive and positive explained Mr. Megathlin. <br /> Interest lies in aesthetics and pedestrian flow from the area neighborhood <br /> condominium units. Traffic issues relative to flow and curb cuts are expected <br /> to be further reviewed. Fiscal impacts related to the proposal will be presented <br /> to the Board in September. <br /> Recess: 7:59 p.m. Meeting Resumed: 8:00 p.m. <br /> Public Hearing-Chef D's Wine and Malt License <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Chef D's,Darren Levorce,Manager, for an Annual Wine and Malt Restaurant <br /> license. <br /> Mr. Whritenour read aloud the Public Hearing notice as published. The Board <br /> received correspondence from the applicant dated June 18, 1998 requesting <br /> approval to withdraw the license application due to the transfer of ownership <br /> of the subject property. <br /> Being no comment, Selectman Marsters requested a vote from the Board to <br /> close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
