An estimated 250 Mashpee residents will be eligible to receive <br /> counseling, education, outreach, referral, and follow-up services. There is <br /> no other such program in the Town informed Ms. Sturges. <br /> The Tribal Council is expected to donate additional space rent free, and <br /> contribute services and materials for this program. <br /> If additional funds are derived from the grant application, playground <br /> equipment will be purchased for Mashpee Village. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the FY 1998 <br /> Community Development Fund grant application as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: <br /> Betty Nichols requested that the upcoming agenda of the Board of Selectmen <br /> be televised on cable on a weekly basis. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Order of Taking for Wildlife Re_f_jge Propcjy: <br /> The Board reviewed the Order of Taking relative to the acquisition of a <br /> 6.2 acre parcel of land on the westerly side of Great Oak Road. It was noted <br /> that the May 1998 Town Meeting authorized the acquisition of said parcel for <br /> conservation purposes. <br />
