DATA PROCESSING POSITION - Mr. Harrington indicated to the <br /> Board that he would like to go . forward with an article for <br /> the Annual Town Meeting to create (but not to fund) the <br /> position of Data Processing Coordinator. <br /> Mr. Lawrence stated that he felt that it is difficult to <br /> create new positions at a time when there is a possibility <br /> of cutting existing positions. <br /> During their discussion of the Annual /Special Town Meeting <br /> Warrants , the Board voted not to include this article on <br /> the Warrant. <br /> OTHER OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 . SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE - The Board further discussed the <br /> contract situation between the Town and Carlson Associates. <br /> A letter was received from Carlson confirming that they <br /> were working at theiur own risk prior to execution of the <br /> contract. Mr . Gottlieb stated that additional information <br /> had been received relative to the matter that needed to be <br /> reviewed prior to discussion. Mr. Jones asked that the <br /> Board discuss the signing of the change order since the <br /> Committee has a tight schedule to adhere to. <br /> The Board asked tht the Committee submit information for <br /> the Board to review, as well as the schdeule that the <br /> Committee is working on prior to next week' s meeting. <br /> Mention was made that there is a possibility of a Special <br /> Town Meeting for this issue as well as, the new Town Hall . <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . RECRUITMENT REGULATION - Mr. Lawrence moved to adopt the <br /> Police Department Recruitment Regulation for Regular Full - <br /> Time officers . Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were <br /> in favor. <br />
