y BOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION MONDAY, MARCH 26, 1990 PAGE FOUR NEW BUSINESS 2. MASHPEE ARTS LOTTERY COUNCIL - Mrs . Jacobson moved to reappoint Nancy Carter, Bernard Doiron, Carla Meskill and Louise Murphy to the Mashpee Arts Lottery Council as was voted by the Council . Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion and Mr. Gottlieb was in favor. Mr. Carter abstained. 3. TRAVEL EXPENSES - Mr. Carter moved that funds be expended from the Leisure Services Expense Account for the purpose of Dean Driscoll attending attend the National Recreation and Parks Association Training Conference to be held in Bedford, New Hampshire on April 1 -- 4, 1990. Mrs. Jacobson seconded the motion. All were in favor . 4. POLICE STATION ADDITION CONTRACT - Mr. Harrington requested that the Board not sign the Police Station Addition. Contract due to the fact that he is awaiting documentation' from Bond Counsel' relative to the authorization to borrow the money. Mr. Harrington anticipated receipt of the documentation during this week. 5. FISCAL POLICY ADVISORY COMMITTEE - Mr. Harrington made recommendations relative to the creation of a Fiscal. Policy Advisory Committee to consist of the Town Treasurer, Town Accountant, Executive Secretary and two members from the general public. Mr. Lawrence stated the creation of this new committee does not diminish the Finance Committee's capacity but that it would be an arm of the Finance Committee and the Board of Selectmen to supply them with financial information that they do not normally deal with. Mr. -Lawrence moved to create a Fiscal Policy Advisory Committee under the direction of the Executive Secretary to be established by May 1 , 1990. Mrs. Jacobson seconded the motion. All were in favor. The deadline for applications will be April 1.5, 1990.
