j <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, JUNE 11 , 1990 <br /> PAGE FOUR <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT -- Mr. Gottlieb moved to declare the <br /> remainder of playground equipment at the Middle School as <br /> surplus. Mrs. Jacobson seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. <br /> Mr. Lawrence suggested that the insurance coverage on the <br /> equipment be checked. <br /> 2 . WAIVER OF AMBULANCE FEE - Mr. Hanson moved to waive the <br /> ambulance fee for Town employee Peter Glazebrook on March <br /> 7, 1990. Mrs. Jacobson seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. <br /> 3 . DONATION OF LAND - The Board discussed three proposed <br /> property donations . The Town Planner , Planning Board and <br /> Treasurer recommended- that the Town accept these three <br /> parcels (Clipper Ship Village, Burrell Property and <br /> Prothero Islands) . <br /> Phyllis Paskauskas, a former member of the Clipper Ship <br /> Village Association indicated that the Association had , <br /> voted against donating the land. <br /> Mr . Hanson moved to accept the three properties as gifts, <br /> providing all taxes have . been paid. <br /> Mr. Hanson withdrew this motion. <br /> Mr. Gottlieb moved to amend Policy 90-002 to read that <br /> acceptance of properties will should not be contingent <br /> upon whether taxes have been paid. Mr. Hanson seconded the <br /> motion. All were in favor. <br /> Mr. Hanson moved to accept the gifts of parcels of land - <br /> Burrell Property and Prothero Islands. Mr. Gottlieb <br /> seconded the motion. A11 were in favor. <br />
