Town meeting is <br /> required. <br /> Selectman Jacobson feels this should be a School Committee <br /> .sponsored article. . <br /> Dr. Petti feels this is unfair. It is- a sp.earate line item <br /> on the budget. The School Department has kept their reports up to <br /> date with the Selectmen. <br /> Selectman Hanson also feels the blame should not be -put on the <br /> School Committee. <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence for the Board to <br /> support and submit the Veterans' Services and the CO/OP payments <br /> from the previous fiscal year. Selectman Gottlieb seconded the <br /> motion. The vote is unanimous with the Board. <br /> Selectman Gottlieb made the motion to include an article on <br /> the warrant for the payment to the Falmouth Public Schools separate <br /> from the Veterans ' Services and CO/OP with no sponsor designated. <br /> Selectman Jacobson seconded the motion. The vote is 4-1 with Select- <br /> man Lawrence opposed. <br /> Sponsorship signatures are required by. Friday. <br /> Kevin Harrington would like the Board to submit an article on <br /> the town warrant for the Council. on Aging. This is for the construction <br /> of an addition to the Mashpee Senior Citizens Center with no dollar <br /> amount. <br /> The Selectmen will allow this article to be place on town warrant <br /> with theri approval. <br /> Article #35 and Article #36 are the new deficits. The Board <br /> approves their placement on the warrant, <br /> Article #37 and Article #40: Selectman Gottlieb would like to <br /> make sure the hearings are held for these articles. <br /> Article #45 and Article #46: Selectman Gottlieb has brought <br /> the attention of an improper citation. Chapter 15, Section 121 <br /> The section is not needed. Joseph Reardon has also noted this and <br /> brought it to the attention of Mr. Virgilio . <br /> Article #51:. Selectman Hanson questions the withdrawal of this <br /> article from petition. There are 19 . signatures. <br /> Mr. Reard n states this is under Ch. 39; statutory procedure. <br /> If all petitioners sip the withdrawal request it could be removed <br /> from. the warrant. Icould move for indefinite postponement at town <br /> meeting: since there 'is little time to obtain the signatures. <br />
