tr BQARD OF SELECTMEN Page 3 MINUTES MONDAY, DECEMBER 171 1990 Deputy Chief of Police requesting replacement 'of Administrative Clerk Since the resignation of Kristin Roberts, the Police Department is in need of an administrative clerk to work 18 hours. The position is for 36 hours and 18 hours have been fillediby Beatrice Horton. Kevin Harrington feels the department is in need to fill this vacancy. The money is funded in the budget. The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to accept the replacement of administrative clerk in the Police Department. Selectman Gottlieb seconded the motion. The vote of the Board is unanimous. Approval of a step increase for Barbara Horton: Approval - of a step increase for Dorothy Studley: Approval of a step increase for Denise Sullivan: Approval' of a step increase for Helen Theohardis: Approval of a step increase for Mary Ann- Demas:. The motion was. made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the step increases for Barbara Horton, Dorothy Studley, Denise Sullivan, Helen Theohardis and Mary Ann Demas. The motion was seconded by Selectman Lawrence. The vote of the Board is unanimous to accept the step increases. Prothero Family Trust: The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to accept the gifts of land from Prothero Family Trust and execute the deed for same. Selectman Lawrence seconded the motion. The vote of the Board is unanimous. Town Counsel will notorize the documents. New Seabury Co. Limited Partnership Special Permit: Selectman Lawrence has stepped down for this hearing. Town Counsel has recommended the Town seek permission to intervene in the pending case as a party in interest for. the purpose of indicating to the Court that the Town is interested in a quiet resolution. This may speed the process. Selectman Gottlieb feels the town should not be obliged. It is not worth the time or money. Selectman Jacobson would like more infor- mation. Since Selectman Lawrence has. stepped down, there is no quorum for the Board to act. Selectman Carter has suggested this issue take place on the next scheduled meeting agenda. Future Meetings: The Selectman have agreed upon the following dates for future meetings of the Board. Thursday, December 27, 1990 6: 30 P.M. Monday, January 7, 1991 7: 00 P.M.
