Mr. Kirrane distributed copies of a
revised plan for the parking area at Mashpee Fish & Lobster, 528 Falmouth Rd. The
original parking plan for the area closest to the rotary was perpendicular parking, which
raised safety concerns for the Planning Committee. The revised plan has eliminated the
perpendicular parking closest to the rotary road surface and replaced it with three
parallel parking spaces. The revised plan also has enclosed the area where there would
be queuing for the takeout window and carried that portion of the driveway to be
basically something akin to pilings with some kind of barrier or fence between the pilings
to ensure that the takeout area is cordoned off from the parking lot.
Mr. Kirrane stated that it had been determined that there were special permits issued on
this property for previous uses by the Zoning Board of Appeals, and therefore he is
proceeding as requesting an amendment or modification to those special permits. Mr.
Kirrane stated that he has copies of a number of the previous special permits for use by
the committee to determine what amendments would be required_
The question was raised by Bob Nelson as to how the dumpster would now be
accessed, and how a vehicle would get to the rear door of the building for deliveries.
Kevin Kirrane agreed to make necessary changes to allow for access to the rear of the
building.
2
