Wicked Fire Kissed Pizza (Preliminary) <br /> 35G South Street <br /> Interior fitout office space with bathroom and waiting area for restaurant <br /> Robert Catania and Tom Bavin appeared. Tom Bavin said he was hired to do the build out at the <br /> Wicked. The draft site plan was discussed and Tom Bavin said they'll be making a revision so that it <br /> will be one-half bathroom that will not be open to the public. <br /> Upstairs would be used for storage and would be accessible,through pull-down staircase. <br /> • Will be sprinkled up top and down below. <br /> • It will all be fire-rated. <br /> • Acoustical drop ceiling to match what's inside the restaurant. Chief Baker asked: Will <br /> entertainment be included in this area. Robert Catania said he would like to have that option. <br /> Chief Baker said then they'd need a shunt trip and wire back to the fire alarm system and a <br /> toggle switch to turn off amplifier in an emergency. Chief Baker said the restriction is that <br /> amplification not be above 80 decibels. <br /> • Tom Bavin said the deck above the office space...the second floor...is approximately 400 <br /> square feet with pull-down stairs. Chief Baker explained that a mezzanine is a certain <br /> percentage of the square footage and if that is exceeded then it is a second floor, not a <br /> mezzanine. They said they are well under the requirement so it is a mezzanine. <br /> Tom O'Hara pointed out that this site is a Special Permit that restricts the square footage so <br /> they may have to go to the Planning Board to modify that Special Permit. <br /> . • T_om.Fudala suggested.they.clarify with Charlie.Maintanis how to define gross floor area. <br /> • Glen Harrington said they should send in an application to the Board of Health for an amended <br /> Permit for the increased seating. <br /> • Charlie Maintanis said they would need a seat layout; code analysis for egress requirements; <br /> and check with the plumbing inspector. <br /> • Chief Baker pointed out that in the seating area if standees also in there then egress may not <br /> be sufficient. Charlie Maintanis will be able to tell'you when he sees the layout. _ <br /> _ 9 Tom-Fudala pointed out-that-parking plus-handicap-parking-is-based on-restaurant seating. <br /> Charlie added that 1 handicap space on South Street has not been done yet. Tom O'Hara <br /> said that parking was increased with the Walgreens building. <br /> This discussion was just.preliminary. The Committee told .applicant things he would need.include: <br /> • Application <br /> • Floor Plan with a full layout with seating <br /> • Occupant load <br /> • Amended liquor license <br /> • Calculated and stamped set of sprinkler drawings. Chief Baker said the fire protection <br /> engineer can use calculations from main flow, <br /> • Revised fire alarm plan <br /> • Egress plans (also needed for liquor license) <br /> • Seating/Standing analysis <br /> • Plumbing inspector <br /> • Seating numbers and design for storage area for Planning Board <br /> • Gross floor area..-Charlie can provide for you. <br /> 4 <br />
