If someone is called in for 1'21 hours and I <br /> work for 10 hours, they will get the same pay. <br /> John Peters -- Tells him that it doesn't seem fair to the person working the <br /> longer amount of time. <br /> Richard Martini -- Replies that they are bargaining. <br /> Mark Lopez — From what I understand, it says he is entitled to a half-day's <br /> compensation. <br /> . Richard Martini — States that the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends are busy <br /> weekends and that they would run into this problem. <br /> At this point, Mr. Martini asks the Personnel Board who they will be dealing with <br /> for the wage re-opener. <br /> Jim Rich — Replies that it will be with the Selectmen or their designated agent. <br /> Tells the Union representatives that there was a meeting when the Personnel Board <br /> was asked about the word°"work". <br /> Richard Martini.— States that it was never their intent. <br /> t <br /> Mark Lopez --- Recalls stating at one meeting that the word "work" was their ace in <br /> a hole. <br /> The Firefighter's adjourned at this point. <br /> Joe Murphy -- Told the Personnel Board that he felt that they should let the <br /> Firefighter's file a grievance. , <br /> The Secretary was asked to send a letter to the Firefighter Union Representatives <br /> stating that the Personnel Board renewed their decision to maintain the same <br /> language as Mr. Weld prepared and to tell them if they disagreed with the Personnel, <br /> Board's decision to take the normal channels. <br /> Contracts , <br /> Joe Murphy talked'wi.th- the Boazdfabout a question raised by their secretary as to <br /> 4yy <br />
