is and by changing the designation of present sub-paragraph (b) of CHAPTER III, ARTICLE II "F" under BUSINESS DIS- TRICTS to (c). Delete sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph II under BUSI- NESS DISTRICTS, section F, Zoning Districts, ARTICLE II of CHAPTER III, of the Town By-Laws and add the follow- ing in its place: (1) No building in the business district on Route 28, Route 151 and Great Neck Road south from the Rotary Circle shall be nearer than one hundred (100) feet to the street line. No building in the business district on Route 130 and Great Neck Road nuth of the Rotary Circle shall be w nearer than fifty (50) feet to the street line. 1' Add the following after CHAPTER III, ARTICLE III. Article IV. SIGN REGULATIONS A. Purpose and Definitions The purpose of this article is to provide for the reason- able regulation and control of the erection and maintenance of signs and advertising devices within the Town to the end that the appearance and amenities of the Town may be pre- served and enhanced, without unduly restricting the conduct of lawful enterprise. For this purpose, the following terms shall have the meanings, hereinafter ascribed to them. SIGN—Any device, surface or framework on which words, symbols or other designs are inscribed or displayed and designed to call attention thereto, including flags, ban- ners, and the like. ACCESSORY SIGN—A sign accessory to a permitted use or occupancy of such premises and/or the nature of the business conducted or the products sold thereon. OFF-PREMISES SIGN—A sign advertising the name of the occupant or location of, or the nature of the business conducted or products sold on, a premises other than that t upon which it is located. REAL ESTATE SIGN—A sign advertising the sale or rental of only the premises on which it is located, and bear- ing the name, address and/or telephone number of the agent
