A sign shall be deemed <br /> a window sign if it is within the display, or show case area <br /> of the window, or within six feet of the inside surface of a <br /> window through which it is intended to be viewed. <br /> STANDING SIGN—A sign standing or hanging free on <br /> its own support; such support may be attached to a building <br /> or fixed in or to the ground.
