L Article 37 : To see if the Town will vote to secure engineering, consulting and legal services to design a water supply system to serve the area as described on a plan entitled "Proposed Summerwood/Asher 's Path Water System" dated January 1987 and on file in the Town Clerk 's office, and that to accomplish said purpose and for expenses incidental and related thereto, the Town vote to appropriate $60,000 and to raise such appropriation, the Treasurer, with approval of the Board of Selectmen, be authorized to borrow at one time, or from time to time, a sum of money under and pursuant to chapter 44, Section 7, and Chapter 44, Section 8, of Massachusetts General Laws, or any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefore, with said indebtedness authorization contingent upon passage of a referendum to exclude the principal and interest on such debt .from the tax levy limitation imposed by Chapter 59, Section 21C of Massachu- setts General Laws (so-called Proposition 2 1/2) ; and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate $3, 000 to the Interest on Temporary Loans Account and the sum of $300 to the Issuance of Debt Account, Motion to appropriate $60,000. and to raise such appropriation the Treasurer be authorized,with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow $60,000.and raise and appropriate $3000. to the Interest on Temporary Loans Account and raise and appropriate $300. to the Issuance on Debt Account motion carries _m te. . . . . . . . . . . . .on a. unan . . . . . . . . . . .8:15 P.M. Funds in this article would allow the design of a water distribution system in the Asher 's Path and Summerwood areas. It does not provide for a source of water but the distribution system once the source has been found. Approval of the design funds would be based upon this article and a Proposition 2 1/2 debt exclusion vote at a special election to be held at an unspecified date.
