land to be held in the care and custody of the Conservation Commis- sion, pursuant to General Laws Chapter 40 , Section 8C; further, to see if the Town will vote to appropriate $ 90,000. for such purpose, including expenses incidental and related thereto, and to raise such appropriation, the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, be authorized to borrow $90 000. under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 7 (3) and, if applicable, Chap 4OtSeo .8 of the General Laws, or any other enabling authority, ana to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefore with said bonding authorization contingent upon passage of a referendum to exclude the principal and interest on such debt from the tax levy limitation imposed by Chapter 59, Section 21C of the General Laws (so-called Proposition 2 1/2) ; and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate $ 4-500. to the Interest on Temporary Loans Account and $450. to the Issuance of Debt Account; further, to see if the Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen and/or Conservation Commission to apply for and accept Federal and/or State grants, including reim- bursement under Chapter 132A, Section 11 of the General Laws, to be applied by the Town toward the financing of this purchase, and to enter into contracts and agreements with Federal and/or State agencies, private conservation trusts, or other entities or persons in connection with the purchase and preservation for conservation purposes of all or a major portion of such land; and finally, to see if the Town will authorize the Conservation Commission and the Board of Selectmen to enter into agreements and execute any and all instru- ments as may be necessary on behalf of the Town to effectuate said purchase; Motion to accept as printed.Moderator read Article 57. . .motion carries YES 92. . . .NO 27. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .�. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .10:01 P.M.
