Select Board <br />Minutes <br />April 7, 2025 <br /> <br />The Select Board opened the Public Hearing by reading aloud the Town of Mashpee Notice of public <br />hearing of the proposed grant application. The town may apply for up to $850,000 for housing <br />rehabilitation and other eligible activities such as infrastructure and public facilities planning. Once <br />awarded, the grant will be managed by the Mashpee Department of Wastewater Management, <br />overseen by the Select Board and Town Manager. <br />Wayne Darragh, Community Opportunities Group, Inc., along with Ashley Fisher, Water Quality <br />Coordinator, were in attendance and stated the correction of the public hearing notice that did not go <br />out in time for the grant application. They expressed growing interest from the public. <br />Town Manager Collins confirmed that all procedural issues related to the grant have been corrected, <br />including the full reading of the notice and the 15-day notice required. <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton to close the public hearing. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. <br />Vote 5-0.
