In <br /> previous years Polar Cave has donated ice cream. This year pizza and popcorn will be <br /> donated. We can ask local vendors for donations and support feeding the town and community <br /> coming together. He inquired if there could be a write-up from The Enterprise. <br /> June Texiera, Green Fire Lightning, will be honored by her granddaughter. The proclamation <br /> will be given by Select Board member Tracey Kelly. <br /> Ms. Wilson wanted to remind the subcommittee that the deadline for processing invoices for <br /> the town is June 20t". Mr. Kupferman will send them to Ms. Wilson once the RAD celebration is <br /> over. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> "Changing of the Guard" Student Reps. Farewell & Welcome <br /> Ms. Stevenson is saying farewell to the two senior representatives and thanked them for their <br /> two years of service, they are going to college next year. <br /> Ayesha Shafi commented it was nice to understand how the town functions, and her ability to <br /> connect with the community on a larger scale. Aimen Igbal appreciates the community <br /> involvement, as she noted its importance in her life, and how fulfilling it is to help those in need. <br /> She created the logo for this committee. Both students were members of the Human Rights <br /> Club. <br /> Max Nash, new student representative, commented they are looking to go into politics and <br /> making a difference on a policy level. Helping in the community is important to them. Being <br /> trans, the DEI community, and this committee, are extremely important to him. He is president <br /> of the Gay Straight Alliance. <br /> Fernanda Lima, a new student representative, likes being a part of her community and she <br /> volunteers a lot. She is thrilled to be able to represent a student voice. She was recently elected <br /> 2 <br />
