Minutes of Meeting Plan Review Committee Tuesday, May 20, 2025 Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room Mr. Peltier said that there should be a fence around the equipment, a fire suppression system installed, and a Knox Box. Brian Tobin, Town Planner Mr. Tobin had a conversation with Town Counsel, and it was agreed that this is a modification of a ZBA Special Permit. In all fairness to the abutters, and for the administrative convenience of the applicants, NextGrid should apply for a modification to the Special Permit with the ZBA, as a public hearing, and in the same notice can include a public meeting to request waivers with the Planning Board per the by-law. It would be appropriate for the applicant to have the Planning Board waivers prior to present them to the ZBA at their public hearing. Mr. Tobin suggested that a letter listing the waivers be submitted by the applicant to the Planning Board, and then submit those recommended waivers along with the application modification to the ZBA for their public hearing. Mr. Morris said that the ZBA public hearing notice will include the accessory use to the Special Permit. A modification of an accessory use for solar. Mr. Tobin would like the Town Engineer involved in this project. Mr. Tobin asked Ms. Laurent if the concerns were addressed for the drainage. Ms. Laurent said; yes. There was discussion regarding the fee for the ZBA public hearing and was told that the fee is $250, and there is a separate fee for the abutter list and processing the mailing that will be emailed to the applicants. There will be a deposit required for the Town Engineer to be determined at the ZBA public hearing. Generally, the fee is $10,000 to cover the peer review and inspections performed by the Town Engineer. Mr. Rodney C. Collins, Town Manager No comments. There were no more comments from the Committee.
