Included in these savings aretrade-in benefits, which increased from <br /> $5,000 to $16,000, as well as waived service contracts for the first year. <br /> Brenden Ramseynoted thatthe equipment in question had alreadybeen submitted <br /> through the CIP and FINCOM process and thatfull documentation, including cost savings <br /> and justification, had been provided. The automatic CPR machine being requested, for <br /> example, has an anticipated end-of-life in 2027, making it practicalto purchase earlier <br /> whiletrade-in value is still high. <br /> Town Manager Collins clarified thatthe onlychange to the financial planning is thatthe <br /> Town will now pay in FY 2026 instead of FY 2027. The equipmentwill be funded through <br /> ambulance receipts, and payment must be completed by June 30, 2026. He further <br /> explained that this move supports operational readiness, particularlywith the planned <br /> deployment of a fourth ambulance, which is needed due to increasing callvolume.
