Town of Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> t <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Next Steps and SRF Submission Timeline <br /> Mr. Drainville explained the urgency of the meeting:the purpose was to secure approval so that a <br /> recommendation letter could be submitted to the State Revolving Fund (SRF) by the following Tuesday. <br /> This documentation would allow the review process to begin and ensure that all deadlines for the <br /> month of August were met. He stressed the need for immediate Commission approval to proceed with <br /> preparing the submission package for the Town Manager's signature. <br /> Vote on Wastewater Superintendent's recommendations for engineering and <br /> OPM contracts associated with construction phase services for the <br /> Comprehensive Wastewater Nutrient Management Program Phase 2 <br /> Approval of Construction Contracts (1-6) <br /> With the SRF timeline in mind, the Commission began formally voting on each of the six construction <br /> contracts. Each motion was preceded by a recommendation from the Wastewater Superintendent and <br /> then unanimously approved by the Commission: <br /> Wastewater Superintendent Jared Meader recommends for Contract 1, awarding the base bid plus <br /> alternates 1 & 2 for a total of$17,937,677.00 to Waterline Industries Corporation. <br /> MOTION:To award Contract 1 to Waterline Industries Corporation in the amount of$17,937,677.00. <br /> Motion by:Alfred Towle Seconded bv:Joseph Lyons <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote. <br /> • Contract 1 was awarded to Waterline Industries Corporation for$17,937,677, including base <br /> bid and alternates 1 and 2. <br /> Wastewater Superintendent Jared Meader recommends for Contract 2,the Pump Stations, awarding <br /> the base bid plus alternate 1 for a total of$13,060,200.00 to R. Zappo. <br /> MOTION:To follow the recommendation of Wastewater Superintendent Jared Meader and award <br /> Contract 2 to R.Zappo in the amount of$13.060.200.00. <br /> Motion bv:Joseph Lyons Seconded by: Meredith Harris <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote. <br /> • Contract 2 was awarded to Zoppo Corporation for$13,060,200.00, including base bid and <br /> alternate 1. <br /> Wastewater Superintendent Jared Meader recommends for Contract 3,the Pirates Cove, awarding the <br /> base bid plus alternate 1 for a total of$7,858,916.52 to CC Construction. <br /> MOTION:To follow the recommendation of Wastewater Superintendent Jared Meader and award <br /> Contract 3 to CC Construction in the amount of$7,858,916.52. <br /> Motion bv:Joseph Lyons Seconded by:Alfred Towle <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote. <br /> • Contract 3 (Pirates Cove area) was awarded to CC Construction for$7,858,916.52, including <br /> base bid and alternate 1. <br />
