Town of Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> t <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> • Schedule meets August 30, 2025, deadline <br /> Sewer Commission Support is Requested to Meet the Bid Schedule <br /> • Sign Easements - Ongoing <br /> o Required for Permission to Advertise <br /> o Will require coordination as each Commissioner needs to sign them <br /> • Approve Recommendation to Award —Recommended for July 31, 2025 <br /> o Speak about the Finances of the project <br /> ■ All bids will be in towards the end of July 2025. <br /> ■ There will be ad alternates <br /> ■ Wastewater Dept will be meeting and assessing all six (6) contracts and <br /> will need to present to the Sewer Commission on July 31, 2025, because <br /> on August 1, 2025, it will need to be submitted to the state with a <br /> package. <br /> o Required for Authorization to Award (ATA) <br /> o The Phase 2 Team will present options for the award of the six contracts to the <br /> Sewer Commission <br /> o The Sewer Commission needs to accept or modify the recommendation to award <br /> o GHD and the Town can then get the packages to DEP formally requesting the <br /> ATA <br /> • Approve Professional Services Contracts <br /> o Required for Authorization to Award <br /> o These formal approvals may require a special meeting for presentation <br /> Meeting the August 30, 2025, SRF Deadline Requires Coordination from all Parties <br /> (PowerPoint) <br /> Request to Set Date for Special Approval of Bidding Before Permission to Advertise Phase 2 <br /> Contracts <br /> Bidding Prior to Permission to Advertise <br /> SRF Program provides two (2) permission letters. <br /> 1. One letter is to award contracts <br /> "You can proceed to the bid phase without getting permission to advertise but you cannot <br /> award contracts without permission." <br /> • Request was made for an extension because the groundwater discharge permit is late <br /> (DEP delays) <br /> • SRF gave two (2) months only, as opposed to three (3) months that were requested <br /> • Deadline will only be met if the bid phase is initiated prior to having permission <br /> • Milestone: Advertise six (6) construction contracts with a Target Date of June 11, 2025 <br />
