He noted that the appointing
authority is typically the Fire Chief, who has attested that the Town’s policies and
procedures were properly followed. In addition, Human Resources has validated the
process. Therefore, this certification by the Select Board is a procedural step to formally
acknowledge compliance with all required protocols.
Motion made by Selectman Weeden to approve the Certification of Hiring Process for
Entry-Level Firefighter/Paramedic Zackary Ribas.
Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson.
Vote: 5-0 Unanimous
Roll Call Vote
Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes
Selectman Weeden-yes
Selectman Cotton-yes
Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes
Selectman Richardson-yes
Acceptance of Resignation from the Mashpee Cable & Advanced Technology Board
– Ken Hannaford
Assistant Town Manager Wayne Taylor reported that the Town has been actively attempting
to contact Ken Hannaford.
