Director wondering if the Children's Room has a need for 8 public service <br /> computers. She would like the Trustees to think of ways this large computer <br /> space could be utilized or how some of it can be repurposed. A few ideas <br /> included a gaming terminal or early literacy station. That furniture and space is <br /> ready to be reconfigured and condensed. We also need to be mindful of cord <br /> placement. <br /> The circulation desk configuration will have no opening, so the kids cannot run <br /> behind and press any buttons, particularly emergency. <br /> Anything that cannot be repurposed will go to the surplus auction. <br /> Donations <br /> The library received a $5,000 donation from the estate of Dorothy G. Studley, <br /> who previously owned the Yarn Basket in Deer Crossing, and passed away in <br /> 2025. It was deposited into the donation account. Ruth Nickerson can write a <br /> thank you card on behalf of the Trustees. <br /> There was a second donation of $150.00 from Richard Zeckendorf, in honor of <br /> Tedi Marsh and George Silver, also deposited into the donation account. <br /> TRUSTEE EDUCATION AND BYLAW REVISION PART III <br /> Chair Geatrakas noted the red revisions on the document are her wording. <br /> The purpose was written in accordance with the Town of Mashpee Charter, the <br /> Trustees oversee policies and usage, not the managing of the day-to-day <br /> operations. <br /> The Library Director printed out the Charter. The school and library both have <br /> governing boards. The Town is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all <br /> buildings. The Town insures this building <br /> Article III <br /> 3 <br />
