of TMs s,s <br /> z. <br /> Aannin Board <br /> c� <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> .wlashpee, Aassachusetts 02649 <br /> Mr. Tobin noted other changes: <br /> -Page 3-2, Conservation and Lands, added the Conservation Commission recently revised its <br /> Regulation 25, land subject to coastal storm flowage, on June 26, 2025 emphasizing protecting <br /> flood zone's role in flood prevention, wildlife habitat, and pollution control. <br /> -Nitrogen Control Bylaw, added see Chapter 107 of the General Bylaws for the Town of <br /> Mashpee. This bylaw is supplemented by the Flow Neutral Bylaw adopted at 2021 Spring <br /> Town Meeting, as General Bylaws Chapter 108 it requires Net 0 nitrogen, or alternative <br /> mitigation efforts, such as restricting land conservation in perpetuity or mitigation payments. <br /> -Solar Energy Bylaw update. The modification was in FY25, to require a special permit in the <br /> Industrial 1 Zone when an applicant is seeking waivers. <br /> -3.2.3 Town achieved 2.9% reduction from baseline, regarding the town being a Green <br /> Community, commenced after significant energy efficiency, like LED lighting, 7.9% building <br /> reduction, and vehicle energy usage increased. <br /> -3-8 Town produces 70% of its electric consumption using solar mounted panels at the landfill, <br /> middle high school, library, DPW, and Senior Center. The plans at the new police station <br /> include both roof and ground mounted solar, all plans for electric energy consumption, <br /> matching all future developments and repairs for HVAC will have electric components. (Install <br /> at KC Coombs is complete) <br /> -Wind, there is only one wind turbine that is presently inoperative and blades removed, <br /> scheduled for complete removal as of January 2026. <br /> Ms. Waygan established next steps for the Board: <br /> 1. Housing- Done <br /> 2. Economic Development- Done <br /> 3. Sustainability- Done <br /> 4. Natural Resources (Redlined by Dale Oakley) (Add Wastewater and Nutrient Management) <br /> 5. Land Use (Mr. Tobin and Board to Redline) (Consider Growth Policy comment from the <br /> Commission) <br /> 5 <br />
