Lvnne Barbee, Candidate: Lynne Barbee was interviewed for the Mashpee Housing <br /> Authority vacancy. She stated she has regularly attended meetings since 2023 and is <br /> motivated by the board's responsibility to advocate for low-income housing and tenant <br /> interests. She expressed a strong commitment to supporting tenants, encouraging civic <br /> engagement, and sharing resources, including assistance related to accessibility. Barbee <br /> cited her consistent meeting attendance, involvement with the Affordable Housing <br /> Committee, and work on the affordable housing plan as relevant experience. She also <br /> referenced her leadership roles as Chair of the Human Services Committee and with the <br /> Cape Cod and Islands Status of Women, noting her experience with collaboration and <br /> compromise. <br /> Michael Cucinotta, Candidate: Michael Cucinotta was interviewed for the Mashpee <br /> Housing Authority vacancy. He shared that he works closely with community members who <br /> utilize Housing Authority resources and has a strong passion for helping others. Cucinotta cited his <br /> experience providing housing to JI and international students over the past four summers, <br /> ensuring they have a safe and supportive environment. He does not currently serve on any <br /> other town boards or committees and expressed enthusiasm for stepping into public service <br /> and contributing to the community. <br /> Mohamad Fand. Candidate: oh ad Fand was inter-viewed for the Mashpee Housing <br /> Authority vacancy. He stated that he had concerns regarding whether the town could hold <br /> a joint meeting for the interviews and referenced notices he had sent outlining his concerns <br /> point by point. He emphasized the importance of understanding and applying rules and <br /> regulations, noting that the matter was one of legality. Fand declined to participate further <br /> in the interview process. <br /> A nomination for Lynne Barbee to fill the Mashpee Housing Authority vacancy was <br /> made by Selectman Weeden and seconded by Selectman Richardson.
