of TMs s,s
z.
Aannin Board
c
16 Great Neck Road North
.wlashpee, Aassachusetts 02649
from the outside of the fence to the inside of the fence. He is looking for a formal vote to
approve plantings pursuant to the letter and adjusted plans on file.
MOTION:
Dennis Balzarini made a motion to vote in favor of this Special Permit
Modification. Seconded by Karen Faulkner. All in favor.
Roll Call Vote:
Rob Hansen: Yes, Mike Milbury: Yes, Karen Faulkner: Yes, Dennis Balzarini: Yes, Mary
Waygan: Yes
Rob Hansen was seated on this matter.
Update: Town Wide Traffic Study
Ms. Waygan stated the 1996 LCP had a plan to increase Route 28 throughout town to four
lanes. When we go forward with this study, she would like to mention that. The easiest thing is
to double and triple lanes, but we want creative solutions that fit our small-town character. We
don't want to look like a highway. Expansion loses beautification. They did a lot of tree planting
on Route 28 in Yarmouth and there are some nice vegetative buffers on Route 151. The Flow
Neutral Bylaw already has thresholds set for this town.
Mr. Milbury is concerned about the traffic near Mashpee Commons 40B.
Mr. Tobin stated the feelers are out, they will be meeting soon, and in talking with Tighe & Bond
they will be able to get a better handle on available cash. Our consulting engineering firm has
a good traffic team.
NEW BUSINESS
Country Club Estates Request for Release of Multiple Lots
The final pavement was put down after construction. They need to clean some drainage and
catch basins.
Mr. Tobin stated the Former Town Engineer Ed Pesce did increase the dollar amount to release
the 13 lots, inclusive of the standard 50% markup, as listed in the engineering review letter.
19
