<br />Select Board <br />March 9,2026 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Article 22 <br />Jared Meader presented the proposed Wastewater Enterprise Fund Budget for FY 2027 in <br />the amount of $1,958,602, as submitted by the Department of Wastewater Management. <br />The funds are to be appropriated for the operation and maintenance of the Mashpee <br />Department of Wastewater Management for FY 2027. <br />Article 23 <br />Jared Meader presented the proposed appropriation and transfer of $100,000 from the <br />Wastewater Stabilization Fund to the Department of Wastewater Management for legal <br />services related to borrowing funds for projects identified in the Comprehensive Watershed <br />Nitrogen Management Plan (CWNMP). These funds are intended to cover one-time closing <br />costs associated with SRF loans in FY 2027. <br />Article 28 <br />Jared Meader presented the proposed article to place the 26-acre parcel (more or less) at 0 <br />Gunters Way under a permanent conservation restriction with the Native Land <br />Conservancy, Inc., or another qualified group. The land will be preserved for conservation, <br />passive recreation, and cultural access. About seven acres will remain for wastewater <br />management under the Department of Wastewater Management, with a sewer easement <br />from Gunters Lane. <br />Article 30 – Short-Term Rental Regulations <br />Brian Tobin, Town Planner, summarized proposed updates to short-term rental regulations <br />aimed at maintaining the current legal framework while addressing community impacts. <br />Article 31 – Zoning Technical Updates-Brian Tobin, Town Planner <br />Brian Tobin, Town Planner, presented Article 31 to the Select Board.
