Changes are largely administrative and intended to provide <br />consistency in interpretation and application. <br />Article 9 <br />Arden Russel, Chair of the CPC, presented Article 9. This article ensures compliance with <br />CPA rules for FY 2026. Because the Town received more state reimbursement than <br />expected, the Community Preservation Committee will set aside 10% of the excess funds <br />into each of the CPA reserve accounts. The funding comes from the Community <br />Preservation Budgeted for Appropriation Reserve. This article has not yet been voted on by <br />CPC. <br />Article 10 <br />Arden Russel, Chair of the CPC, presented Article 10. This article seeks funding for the <br />Town to continue participating in the Barnstable County Shared Regional Housing Program, <br />which provides a?ordable housing resources, consultant o?ice hours, and other services <br />as needed. Participation supports the Town’s e?orts to advance a?ordable housing <br />initiatives in Mashpee. <br />Article 11 <br />Arden Russel, Chair of the CPC, presented Article 11. This article seeks funding to replace <br />the surfacing of the preschool playground at KC Coombs School. The new rubber tile <br />surface will support continued use for preschoolers during school hours and safe public <br />use after hours and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. <br />Article 12 <br />Arden Russel, Chair of the CPC, presented Article 12. This article seeks $222,565 from the <br />Community Preservation Fund to replace siding, windows, and doors at the Mashpee <br />Housing Authority’s Homeyer Village at 7 Jobs Fishing Road.
