<br />Select Board <br />March 9,2026 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />funds will supplement state funding from the High Leverage Asset Preservation Program <br />(HILAPP). <br />Article 13 <br />Arden Russel, Chair of the CPC, presented Article 13. This article seeks $500,000 from the <br />Community Preservation Fund A?ordable Housing Reserve to provide the Mashpee <br />A?ordable Housing Trust with funds to respond to opportunities to increase a?ordable <br />housing in Mashpee. The Trust will report progress and accounting to the Community <br />Preservation Committee twice a year. <br />Article 14- First Pentecostal Church Historic Renovation <br />Arden Russell, Chair of the CPC and Brian Hyde, Historical Commission Representative, <br />presented Article 14 to the Select Board. They were accompanied by pastor-elect, Steve <br />Milton and a member of the church. <br />This article requests $100,000 from the Community Preservation Fund Budget for <br />Appropriation Reserve to support the exterior historic renovation of the First Pentecostal <br />Church located at 258 Main Street, as recommended by the Community Preservation <br />Committee. <br /> The project focuses on repairing and preserving the exterior of this historically significant <br />structure, which is located within the Mashpee Historic District. The church has long <br />served as a center of worship and an important part of the community’s history. A historical <br />marker will be installed on the property if the restoration is completed. <br />Article 15 <br />Arden Russell, Chair of the CPC and Brian Hyde, Historical Commission Representative, <br />presented Article 15 to the Select Board.
