<br />Select Board <br />April 27,2026 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Atkinson referenced several major roadway projects and noted that some of these projects <br />may not fully align with the Town’s Complete Streets policy, potentially representing missed <br />opportunities to incorporate Complete Streets elements into project planning and design. <br />He encouraged continued review and discussion of project planning and funding <br />allocations, including Complete Streets-related initiatives, as they come before the Board. <br />ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br />(This space is reserved for topics that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate would be <br />discussed) <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br />Select Woman Kelley-Wilson provided an update from the Mashpee Chamber of <br />Commerce, noting that the Farmers Market “sneak peek” event will take place this <br />Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. She stated that the o?icial opening day will be May <br />24. <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson also noted “Restaurant Week” from June 7 through June 14 <br />and encouraged residents to support local businesses and the local economy. <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson additionally reported that some local businesses are seeking <br />J-1 housing. <br />Chair Wyman-Colombo reported that the Council on Aging volunteer luncheon has been <br />postponed and will be rescheduled for May 7 at noon. <br />WATER QUALITY UPDATES <br />An update was provided regarding ongoing water quality e?orts, including work on Article 4 <br />and the design of Waquoit Bay improvements. <br />Town Manager Rodney Collins stated that a presentation was recently given regarding <br />water quality coordination, engineering, and related questions and answers.
