(Phase 3) <br />Motion made by Richard Weiner to recommend Article 4. <br />Motion seconded by Anne Schnader. <br />Vote:6-0 <br />Motion passed by unanimous consent <br />Resident and Select Board Chair Colombo-Wyman explained that the <br />funding would support the design of a wastewater treatment facility aimed at <br />removing approximately 30% of nitrogen from Waquoit Bay. <br />The Town Manager reiterated that the town is operating under a 20-year <br />regulatory timeline, making it critical to have a design ready in order to qualify for <br />State Revolving Fund (SRF) financing. While future federal funding levels remain <br />uncertain, having a completed design would position the town competitively for <br />available funds. <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
