<br />FINCOM-Regular Session <br />March 26,2026 <br /> <br />oversee the operation of the Town’s Wastewater Management System. This article will <br />impact the current year’s tax rate. <br />Motion made by Jamie Schuh to accept the explanation for Article 22. <br />Motion seconded by Darlene Furbush. <br />Vote 7-0 <br />Motion passed by unanimous consent. <br />Article #23 – Transfer Wastewater Stabilization Fund funds to the Department of <br />Wastewater Management for legal services <br />The Finance Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of this article to <br />authorize the use of wastewater stabilization funds to cover anticipated one-time closing <br />cost related to the SRF Loans. This article will have no impact on the current year tax rate. <br />Motion made by Jamie Schuh to accept the explanation for Article 23. <br />Motion seconded by Richard Weiner. <br />Vote 7-0 <br />Motion passed by unanimous consent. <br />Article #24 – Upgrade Quashnet Intermediate School’s HVAC system <br />The Finance Committee voted to recommend approval of this article to complete HVAC <br />System upgrades at the schools. <br />This article will require approval of a corresponding ballot question. <br />This article will have no impact on the current year tax rate, but it will impact tax rates <br />starting in FY 2028. <br />Motion made by Jamie Schuh to table the explanation for Article 24. <br />Motion seconded by Keith Machado. <br />Vote 7-0 <br />21 <br /> <br /> <br />
