Seconded by Dennis Balzarini. <br /> Mary Waygan opposed. Dennis Balzarini opposed. (3-2) <br /> Ms. Faulkner supports this and the 22 ft. going into the parking lot from the curb cut means <br /> one car gets in and you have a backup on Route 28 and will result in an accident. <br /> Mr. Milbury noted 20ft. to react to a pedestrian is dangerous, resulting in an almost immediate <br /> stop off Route 28. <br /> Mr. Hansen stated there is a signal beacon with a push button. Jean Chirsty confirmed, and it <br /> was moved to a more appropriate place than originally proposed. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Karen Faulkner made a motion to approve Finding #27. Seconded by Dennis <br /> Balzarini. All In favor. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Karen Faulkner made a motion to approve Finding #28. Seconded by Rob <br /> Hansen. Rob Hansen opposed. Mary Waygan opposed. Dennis Balzarini opposed. <br /> (3-2 Doesn't Pass) <br /> Ms. Faulkner noted the Steeple St. stop sign is risky with a volume to capacity at 102%. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Mike Milbury made a motion to approve Finding #29. Seconded by Karen <br /> Fualkner. Mary Waygan opposed. Dennis Balzarini opposed. (3-2) <br /> Ms. Waygan commented light retiming mitigation would improve one area while negatively <br /> impacting another. The Commission found mitigation and the project agreed, and in general it <br /> was an improvement. She doesn't support Finding #29. Mitigation will cause a negative impact <br /> but have an overall improvement. We are not empowered to require mitigation, we can ask. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Karen Faulkner made a motion to approve Finding #30. Seconded by Mike <br /> Milbury. Rob Hansen opposed. Dennis Balzarini opposed. Mary Waygan opposed. <br /> (3-2 Doesn't Pass) <br /> Mr. Milbury stated the capacity analysis shows the Falmouth east bound left lane would remain <br /> LOS Grade D after mitigation. <br /> MOTION: <br /> 18 <br />
