of TMs s,s
z.
Aannin Board
c
16 Great Neck Road NOYth
Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649
Mr. Tobin does not wish to answer that for the case of an AN R on behalf of an applicant.
Mr. Milbury feels the applicant is dismissing the fact that we didn't like the butchering of the
landscape, but does anyone have any problem with the changing of lot lines?
Mr. Balzarini inquired about trees on Great Oak Road, or more vegetation.
Mr. Galanis stated landscaping will be added, down by the retention basin will have landscape
trees along there, it acts as a natural rain garden on a larger scale.
Mr. Tobin noted either way they would have to vote to deny.
Mr. Galanis asked about the lot in question, at the end coming to Great Oak by the retention
basin, if they remove the 20ft. off that lot and leave the rest. He doesn't need the 20ft. on that
lot. The houses will have landscaping on the backside.
Mr. Tobin stated that creates a buffer in the area and wants to walk through that. If you do that
and agree to plant trees, we will hold you to that in perpetuity, once they grow and restore part
of the buffer. He asked if that open space land surrounding has any restrictions. He asked if the
HOA is formed. The vegetative buffer would need to be in perpetuity.
Mr. Galanis noted they could join Phase 3 orform their own HOA. He doesn't believe that area
has a restriction for conservation.
Mr. Tobin would like to remove the 20ft. for that last lot, in addition to a small conservation
restriction behind other lots.
Mr. Milbury commented that the last HOA took land around the end of Garden Drive. Wouldn't
the same thing happen for Topspin Way? If you go to Garden Drive they are still part of the
HOA land that comes to Great Neck, and they have to take care of it now.
It was stated this is across from protected lands so the idea is to restore the tree corridor that
has been cleared.
Mr. Crispin would like to show the clearing.
Ms. Waygan stated they will submit a modified ANR plan and withdraw tonight. They will be on
the Agenda for June 3rd, where they can accept and vote then.
Mr. Galanis noted this comes down to one house which drives him crazy.
21
