Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission 16 Great Neck Road North Mashpee, MA 02649 It was noted that, with the NHESP letter received, the Commission's outstanding concerns appeared to have been addressed. MOTION: To close an issue at 17 Sunset Circle with the following conditions: 1. All conditions contained in the NHESP letter shall be incorporated into the Order of Conditions. 2. A freshwater mussel survey shall be completed prior to construction in accordance with NHESP requirements. 3. The purple flowering raspberry shall be removed from the planting plan and replaced with an approved native species. Discussion: During discussion on the motion, Mr. Colombo requested that the finalized Freshwater Mussel Protection plan be distributed to the Commission for review once completed. It was noted that the mussel protection plan would be incorporated as a condition of the Order of Conditions and that the work could not proceed until the required plan had been completed and approved. Mr. Colombo stated that he continued to believe the proposed 50-foot dock was excessive and, in his opinion, constituted an adverse effect. Proposed first floor addition to the existing foundation, a cantilevered porch, a connecting patio area, and sitting nooks. The work will include the removal of the existing deck and features. The work includes a septic system upgrade with an innovative alternative nitrogen reducing system. (Representative: Cape and Islands Engineering, Inc.) (cunt. 5.07) 43- 3416 The Commission considered a request to continue the hearing for 14 Little Neck Lane to July 23, 2026. It was reported that Commission representatives recently conducted a site visit with Brian McCormick to review construction-related issues and other project concerns. The report resulting from that review had not yet been completed and was not expected to be available for several weeks. The Commission was advised that the continuance request was being made to allow time for the report to be finalized and reviewed. It was further stated that no changes to the project had been proposed at that time, although the project would be reassessed once the report was received and evaluated.
